Mount Everest, the world’s apex at 8,848 meters, commenced its climbing history with Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary’s triumphant ascent in 1953. The pinnacle of Everest embodies the aspirations of adventurers and mountaineers alike, nestled in Nepal’s Solukhumbu District within Sagarmatha National Park. Known as Sagarmatha in Nepali and Chomolungma in Tibetan, Everest’s nomenclature by Sir George Everest honors his cartographic contributions.
The encompassing massif includes neighboring peaks like Lhotse, Nuptse, and Changtse, while Everest’s summit demarcates Nepal’s border with Tibet. For those daring to fulfill the Everest Expedition dream, meticulous preparations encompass physical and mental readiness.
