As your journey begins in the charming village of Sama Gaon (nearest village from base camp), the designated base camp for this expedition.  You’ll be greeted by breathtaking vistas of majestic snow-capped peaks, pristine glaciers, and tranquil valleys. The autumn season (September to October) offers favorable weather conditions, with clear skies and stable temperatures, providing an optimal window for conquering this formidable summit. 

Additionally, Mt.Manaslu is located in the Manaslu conservation area which is reach in remarkable biodiversity, with diverse flora and fauna enhancing the awe-inspiring surroundings. Reaching the pinnacle of Mt. Manaslu will reward you with an overwhelming sense of accomplishment and a panoramic view of neighboring peaks, including the majestic Annapurna Massif and Ganesh Himal and Dhaulagiri. 

Overview

Mt. Manaslu expedition requires not only technical expertise but also physical endurance. Led by a team of seasoned guides and Sherpas, you’ll navigate steep slopes, traverse icy ridges, and overcome treacherous crevasses. Each step closer to the summit will test your determination, resilience, and ability to work together as a team. Our Manaslu climbing expedition will be lead by international mountain instructor along with highly professional local sherpa guides (1:1).

Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the vibrant city and preparing for the upcoming expedition. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner where you can meet your expedition team and discuss the details of the climb.

Day 2:
Kathmandu Sightseeing and Preparation

After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Visit iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square, immersing yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Nepal. In the afternoon, attend a pre-expedition briefing and gear check with your expedition leader and climbing guides.

Day 3:
Drive to Sotikhola (710m)

Leave Kathmandu early in the morning and drive to Sotikhola, the starting point of the trek. The scenic drive takes you through picturesque countryside and along the raging Budhi Gandaki River. Settle in at the teahouse in Sotikhola for the night.

Day 4:
- 11: Trek to Base Camp (4,800m)

Embark on a challenging trek through beautiful villages, dense forests, and suspension bridges. Follow the trail along the Budhi Gandaki River, passing through Machha Khola, Jagat, Deng, Namrung, and Samagaon. Enjoy breathtaking views of Manaslu and surrounding peaks throughout the trek. Take regular acclimatization breaks, allowing your body to adjust to the increasing altitude. Reach the base camp, where you will spend a few days preparing for the climb.

Summit Attempt and Return
The exact duration for summit attempts and return depends on various factors, including weather conditions and individual acclimatization. During this period, you will make your way up to Camp 1 (5,700m), Camp 2 (6,400m), and Camp 3 (7,450m), establishing higher camps and acclimatizing accordingly. Finally, make a summit push, reaching the majestic summit of Mt. Manaslu (8,163m). After celebrating your achievement, begin your descent, retracing your steps back to the base camp.
