 Great Himalaya Trail is known to be the longest and highest trekking path amongst all others trekking path by covering the total length of 4,500 km. Great Himalayan Trail (GHT) presents the opportunity of a lifetime memorable thrilling and wonderful views of Mountains. The trail passes through most remote communities, green valleys, the top naturally diversity gifted countries Myanmar, Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal, India and Pakistan, high plateaus and incredible landscapes in the Himalayas. The trial was walked for the first time in 2009 by the team led by Robin Boustead and the trip was completely successful within 157 days during the trip on February-August of 2011.

The most amazing fact of this trial is the longest route of the Great Himalayan Trail is in Nepal, which covers the length of 1,700 km. The trail heads on western Nepal where the massive views of mountains above 8000m are seen. The final westernmost point of the Great Himalayan Trail is the world’s ninth highest peak i.e. Nanga Parbat located in Pakistan. After the spectacular views if fourteen 8000m mountains the trek passing through the headwaters of Ganga river of India, the views of Annapurna, Everest, and Kanchenjunga of Nepal then Bhutan and ends at Namche Barwa in Tibet. 

 Another trekking trail has a choice to complete the trek through camping, teahouse style, and homestay. As mentioned above the route following The Great Himalayan Trail takes you the most remote areas in the world, where the trekkers have to follow homestay, teahouse or camping style. Comparing with other Trekking Base Camp and trail in difficult level it occupies in top position. 

As a trekking agent, we would suggest you take part in this trial after having some basic knowledge of trekking, gears, and gadgets. There will be the international professional guide for you. Furthermore, you can bring some chocolates, umbrella, water bottles etc. Bringing the camera will be the best option for you on this trip. You will see the massive views of mountains and natural scenery, different kinds of animals and birds with your naked eyes. By capturing those memorable moments will make the perfect history in the future.

  1. Choose a professional and experiences trekking guide.
  2. Should have proper trekking gears, including down jacket, trekking trouser, wind proof, hat, trekking poles and sun protections etc.
  3. Tell your guide if you feel uncomfortable while getting high altitude, you may sick by altitude problem.
  4. It's better to bring some chocolate and dry foods yourself.
  5. Respect local people and their cultural values, try not to give any negative message on that.
  6. Always be creative and ask anything to the local people yourself or through your guide to know about the mysterious himalayan culture and nature.
  7. Manage your personal rubbish yourself or through your guide, do not throw any plastic item in open environment.
  8. Always follow the rules and regulation of your personal guide
